ACFW Virginia is pleased to announce that the following faculty members, will be taking appointments during the week before and/or following the Royal Writers Conference.

Attendees will have the opportunity to schedule one agent/editor and one author/mentor appointment as part of their conference registration. Availability is limited and appointments will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is highly encouraged for the best selection of appointments.

Within 24 hours after successful completion of the registration process, registrants will receive an email confirmation containing the link to the Sign-Up Genius form listing available appointment slots.

Agent/Editor Appointments

DINA DAVIS is an associate editor for Harlequin’s Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense. Before starting at Harlequin, she worked as an editorial assistant and assistant editor at Guideposts Books and served internships at Good Housekeeping Research Institute, amNewYork, and Guideposts Magazine. In her free time, Dina loves traveling all over the world, visiting family in Pittsburgh, cheering on the Steelers, consuming stories in any format, and going to brunch with her friends. Her own love story started during her freshman year of college abroad in Florence, Italy, where she met her husband and some of her closest friends.

Dina’s interested in acquiring inspirational romance novels that pull the reader into the story with relatable characters, exciting and suspenseful plots, and emotional confessions of love. She prefers stories with strong female characters, multifaceted villains, and deep romantic conflicts.

USMC veteran LINDA FULKERSON is the owner of Scrivenings Press LLC, a small publisher of clean and/or Christian fiction. She also owns DLF Digital Services, which specializes in developing websites for authors. Linda comes from a newspaper background and has worked as a copy editor, sportswriter, and online editor. She is the former director of digital services for the largest media group in central Texas.

She and her husband Don live on a ten-acre plot in central Arkansas. They have four adult children and eight grandchildren. Linda and Don are part of an RV ministry group that travels to various locations around the United States, providing volunteer labor to small churches, church camps, children’s homes, and other organizations. When she’s not working or writing, Linda enjoys photography, travel, and spoiling her two dachshunds. CYNTHIA RUCHTI is an author and literary agent with Books & Such Literary Mangaement. As an author, Cynthia tells stories hemmed in Hope through her novels, novellas, devotions, and nonfiction, and through speaking for women’s events/retreats and as an instructor or keynoter at writers conferences. Her books have received recognition from RT Reviewers’ Choice, PW Starred Review, Selah Awards, Christian Retailing’s BEST Awards, CLASSeminars Award of Excellence, Golden Scroll Awards, and more. She serves as Professional Relations Liaison for American Christian Fiction Writers, is a founding board member of the Deliver Hope ministry, and is part of the worship team at her church.

Award winning author, SHANNON TAYLOR VANNATTER writes contemporary romance and has 18 traditionally published titles. After nine and a half years of striving for publication, her debut novel won the Inspirational Reader’s Choice Award. She gleans fodder for her fiction in rural Arkansas where she spent her teenage summers working the concession stand with her rodeo announcing dad and married a Texan who morphed into a pastor.

The following authors and experts in their respective fields have agreed to take mentor appointments during the week before and/or after the conference.

TAMERA ALEXANDER is a USA Today bestselling author and one of today’s most popular writers of inspirational historical romance. TAMMY KARASEK knows the value of a proper critique and strives to teach others the importance of what to do and not do while giving a critique. She also encourages writers to have an open mind to hear how to improve their work for a stronger piece. Tammy works as a virtual assistant for several established authors. She is willing to take appointments regarding launch teams, building your social media platform, taxes and record keeping, or any aspect of the business side of writing.

A freelance writer for over twenty years, TINA RADCLIFFE is a Romance Writers of America and American Christian Fiction Writers Honor Roll member, and a four-time ACFW Carol Award finalist. Her Harlequin novels have won the ACFW Carol Award, the Holt Medallion and appeared on the Publishers Weekly Bestseller list. Besides her novel-length fiction, and her independent publishing releases, Tina has sold over three dozen short stories to Woman’s World Magazine.
